Grange Bowling Club was established in 1907 as the Grange and Henley Beach Bowling Club. When the Henley Bowling Club was opened in 1922, the club continued as Grange Bowling Club.
The original double story clubroom building was built at the northern end of the property in 1916. These clubrooms were demolished in 1954 after the construction of a new, single story facility that is still in use.
